if you own a credit card...

you should know this. many credit card holders have no idea about this clause. i myself do not know about it. i'm also not sure if this clause is written in the credit card agreement. well, who cares to read the agreement?

from today's the star.

Most unaware of RM250 limited liability

CARDHOLDERS need not pay more than RM250 whenever their lost or stolen credit cards are used by others. Yet, oftentimes, they end up paying much more.

This is because Bank Negara has not informed cardholders that they do not have to pay more than RM250 for fraudulent transactions carried out using their lost or stolen cards, when they had not acted fraudulently and had informed the banks about the lost or stolen cards as soon as possible.

This protection is given under Clause 13.2 of Bank Negara’s Credit Card Guideline (“The cardholder’s maximum liability for unauthorised transactions as a consequence of a lost or stolen credit card shall be confined to a limit specified by the issuer of credit cards, which shall not exceed RM250 provided the cardholder has not acted fraudulently or has not failed to inform the issuer of credit cards as soon as reasonably practicable after having found that his credit card is lost or stolen”).

Banks know about Clause 13.2 but have chosen to ignore it. Instead they pursue cardholders for the fraudulent transactions.

They will tell cardholders that a clause in the credit card contracts states that all transactions carried out before the loss of the cards are reported to the banks, are deemed to be carried out by the cardholders.

Many cardholders then pay up because they are unaware of the RM250 limited liability.

Bank Negara should rule that:

·THE RM250 maximum liability on fraudulent transactions is highlighted to cardholders in the card agreements as well as in the monthly card statements.

·BANKS are not allowed to insert any clause in the card agreement which is contrary to Clause 13.2.

·BANKS should refund all money in excess of the RM250 collected from cardholders whose cases clearly come under Clause 13.2.

road bully alert!

this is a delayed entry that i posted in the scm forum last month.

yesterday night (29th nov 07) about 10:40 pm, i was waiting for my gf outside my colleague's house in taman midah. it's at the end of jalan midah, near to jalan kilang midah, where there are a lot of factories and office.

so i parked my car outside of my colleague's house, on the opposite side of the road. behind me parked a proton iswara.

i was reading while waiting for my gf and colleauge to come back. in fact, i'm enjoying the comfy and smell of my 6 days old suzie.

when i drive, i even slowed down (and i mean very very slow) when passing a bump, and always maintain at least 2 or 3 cars distance with the car in front when i'm driving.

sudenly, i heard a loud bang. after few seconds, i heard another bang, and my car shook!!!

i got a shock, and got down of my car immediately!! the iswara is pressed against my car's bumper!! i saw a guy coming out from a Nissan Frontier, and i remarked to him that i just got the car. why he want to do that?

he didn't apologise! i repeat, HE DID NOT APOLOGISE!.

in fact, he fck me up, then say the iswara always parked in front of his house, cause him to have no place to park. so he purposely knocked the cars and he don't give a fck even if it is my new car!!

then he just went into his house without bothering me. asking me to report police if i like. he don't care.

but of cos, i stayed there, and get some people over. there were like more than 10 ppl outside his house yesterday night, and eventually he came out.

initially he refused to talk to us also. and said that he purposely knocked wan. he refuse to pay for the damages. he say the iswara always park in front of his house. he got no place to park. but, what does it has got to do with me? in fact, i parked outside my colleague's house!!

besides, that is a public place! what right does he has to say it's his spot?? and then when i check behind his car, still got a lot of spaces there! i think behind him, can park 2 more cars!!!

after much discussion, he agreed to pay an undisclosed sum. becos i was very angry that time, my family don't let me talk. i just keep on checking on my car.

i think if i have no one to call for help, he would not have bothered to come out or pay for the damage.

i called the police station, and they say have to report at jalan tun hs lee there cos is accident.

btw, he has a wife and a daughter. i saw them sitting in the living room. not sure if they are ashamed of the father or not. i think his wife drives the cr-v parked inside the house, with the same number - 6635.

there is a dent in my bumper. and two marks there. 6 DAYS OLD ONLY. kena rogol dy.

for a hero

while our local newspapers are busy censoring news from publishing, and only reporting news that are favorable to a certain parties, a friend of us is making news in australia.

kerk zi on is a school mate of mine back in teluk intan. not really close, but know each other close enough to be considered friends. besides, he's the only person i know back then that supports a football club not in the top four (man utd, arsenal, chelsea & liverpoo). he's a tottenham hotspurs fan.

he will know be remembered for his selfless act that saved the life of a korean lady, losing his at the same time. what supposed to be a nice day at the beach turned into a tragedy and a story of a brave young man.

according to the news, they were in the water in moreton island, when (i assume) the sea gets a little bit rough. everyone were swimming towards a rocks, and people on the rocks are rescuing and pulling people out of the water until they are left with zi on and another korean lady.

zi on was much nearer to the rescuers, and he could have saved himself had he grabbed the outstreched arms of the rescuers. instead, he chose to helpt he korean lady towards the rescuers and at the same time, himself drifted further away.

that was on the 5th of december 2007. i only found out about it this morning, when i read the bulletin posted by keng yan in friendster. it's 15th today - 10 days after that fateful event, the rescue team still had not found his body! from a rescue operation to a body recovery operation.

being put in the same circumstances, many will not do the things he chose to do. some will be undecided. some will save themselves first. there is no right or wrong. but it requires a huge amount of selflessness and courage beyond greatness to do what zi on had done.

it's an honor to just know him personally... and to come from the same school as him...

"...As they came out past the rocks, they were yelling and screaming, the Malaysians who made it to the rocks leaned over and grabbed the people as they went past. They got down to two people left, a male and a female in the water, and the man was within reach. Instead of grasping the hand stretched out for him, he pushed the woman towards it. She got pulled out of the water but in pushing her within reach, he pushed himself out of reach, he saved her life but it's likely that he lost his own......."

are we in police state?

i'm kinda worried, because the police can arrest you without valid reason!

watch this video until the end. two citizen were caught without a warrant. which means, you too can be caught by the police while you are driving on the road, or if you had mistakenly driven up the road leading to the parliament gate.

oh...and they can do whatever they like to your property that they held custody.

xl crazy super show 2007

i was talking to corrine on msn when i realise what a great weekend i've had. on saturday, right after work, i went down to shangri-la for hi-tea. not that i am rich or what, but i won a free buffet voucher from a lucky draw. hehe...

after the hi-tea, we went down to genting highlands for the xl crazy super show 2007 and it's totally crazy! the show ended at about 10:30 pm and because of the thick fog, we decided to hang around in first world plaza, hoping the fog will get lesser.

we even watched a movie - mad detective. a boring, but nice movie. it's confusing if you do not know what it's about. after the movie, it was already 3 am in the morning.

the fog is still thick, but we decided to leave anyway. all the cars were moving in a very cautious speed and we reached home at about 4:30 am. that's when i realise how good the week is going to be!

the first thing i do when i reach home is to switch on my lap top and go to soccernet. yay! man utd beat derby county 4 goals to 1. the better news? reading thrash the poo-poo 3 goals to 1. lol... what news can be better than this?? this defeat must have caused a huge dent in their huge ego! 5x euro champ, my ass.

sunday passes by without much hoo-haa. as expected, slept until late in the afternoon. then gave my car a good bath, before taking a short nap again. later that night, went down to tesco extra for some big apple donuts.

the great weekend then continued to monday morning when i read that struggling middlesborough has beaten arsenal. wow! what a surprise! who can expect that? now man utd is only one point behind arsenal with the same number of games played, and with better goal difference!!

now, bring on the poo-poo! we gonna thrash them and go top for christmas!

btw, here are some pics from the xl crazy super show...

the hilarious trio who kept the audiences in stitches throughout the show...

all the participating celebrities...that's including amber chia and a dj from my.fm i think...

annie man, introducing herself at the beginning of the show...
preparing for the first game... "something" ping pong...

ron ng the first performer for the night, singing his fame song, "bit guai ta" the remixed version...

michael tong, after his performance impersonating jacky cheung...with a fake nose...

getting members of the floor to join in the next game...

tong ying ying impersonating liza wang with her song, "hot coffee"...

another game where they had to put into their mouth as many grapes as possible...

annie man first time singing on a stage... she look so lovely...

amber chia and ron ng playing the guess the number game...

my fav of the night, michael tse impersonating aaron kwok and did it very well...

finally, it's amber chia getting creamed all over... :P

oh..and a bonus! wtf...

payin pdrm summons

if you have not known, there are two types of summons. one is issued by the dewan bandaraya. another one by the polis diraja malaysia (pdrm). so, i had a few pdrm summons that i need to settle. and i have to go to bukit aman in order to get discount because i have summons from hilir perak.

so there i was at bukit aman after two wrong stops earlier. the first stop, i was at the back of bukit aman. so i need to go around bank rakyat to the lake gardens. being there for the first time, i saw another building that looks like a police station. silly me.

anyway, here are just some guidelines to help you all with paying summons.

there is a small building at the entrance where you can check your summons. you'll need to get a number and wait for your turn. when it's your turn, give the officer your car number, and she'll print a report for you and she'll staple your waiting number to the report. don't take it away.

if you want discount, you'll need to see the pegawai kompaun. his office is in bangunan empat tingkat. get your past from the guard house, and walk into the police station. follow the road and you'll come to a four storeys building. if you can't find the way, just follow the direction everyone is heading.

you won't get lost in the building. the pegawai kompaun office is on the ground floor. after a few turn, you'll see people queuing up. just queue up and wait. i waited for slightly less than an hour.

when it's your turn, just go into the pegawai office, greet him if you want to, pass him your summons report and he'll know what to do. he does it most of the days i assume. haha... because the queue just keep on growing.

after that, you'll need to go back to the small building at the entrance, get your number again and make the payment.

oh yah, they accept credit cards! so no worries if your a lot of summons. the dispatch guy queuing up in front of me, has summons total to more than rm3000k.

genting highlands on raya

genting highlands used to be a very appealing location to me. you'll often hear people saying with pride that they went up there at night just to have a cup of drink at coffee bean. i've not been there to just have a cup of drink, yet.

but i've been there twice in a day. and i've also been up there four times in a week. those were the days. the casino was really tempting back then. being a college student, it's always nice to have few hundred ringgits extra every now and then. of course, it hurt too when you lose $$$.
i've been to genting highlands countless time for the past 2 or 3 years, mostly for working purposes. fortunately, the casino is not as appealing to me as it used to be anymore. and i'm really glad of that.
i totally do not have the urge to go into the casino at all. i'd rather hang around at the first world plaza, wondering aimlessly than to get into the casino. unsurprisingly, genting highlands become a little bit boring for me.

however, i was up there with my girlfriend on the first day of raya, i guess, and darn, all the car parks are full. we'll have to park somewhere outside, and walk quite a distance to reach the first world. as usual, we just hang around first world, had burger king and guess what! we went into ripley's believe it or not!

the last time i went into ripley's was probably 5 or 6 years ago. though it is very much the same, it still never fail to amaze me with all the weird things.

like these...

#1: human unicorn
#2: crocodile teeth as false teeth

#3: man who was born with blue (pale) skin
#4: forget about the movie king fu hustle, this is the guy who really bit the bullet.

#5: a replica of a mosque, built with matches and great details. ivan the terrible chop off one arms, take out the eyes and cut off the tongues of all the people who built this replica to prevent it being duplicated. wtf.

#6: and of course the famouse siamese twins, chang and eng.

and lastly, the short sighted fish! this fish was caught by a fisherman, and the spectacle was returned to a sailor who lost it on a sail.

guang liang - yong qi

waking up later than usual

i used to wake up at 7:30am. and then i'll let myself laze on the bed for about 15 minutes before i finally get up and get myself done. it usually takes me about 5 minutes to pee, brush my teeth, wash my face and get changed into my working attire. 5 minutes, sometime less sometime more.

this explain why i don't really like to keep short hair. because with that kind of time frame and so many things need to be done in such a short period of time, i don't have the patient to shape my hair! it's very frustrating when you can't get the right style that you wanted.

longer hair is so easy to be kept and taken care of. usually i'll just apply some wax or cream to make the hair look shiny. then comb a bit with my fingers. that's it.

so lately, i've been waking up much later. 8:30 am. that's about 1 hour more sleep than usual. haha... been getting lazier and lazier. ugh.. not really lazy. just lose the passion to go to back to my office. most of the morning, i'll be weighing whether to take the day off or not. and despite waking up at 8:30am, i've not been late to work yet. cos i can get myself done in 5 minutes, so i normally reach office at around 8:50 am to 8:55 am. not too bad eh... considering that i still see people only clocking in even after 9 am.

sort of lose a little bit of motivation and faith with my work place. kinda...

the week that was

nothing much happened this whole week. life is rather stagnant. and no i'm not glad about it.

mooi started his new job and i couldn't even get him on his mobile ever since. and yesterday night, i got a message from him at about 9 something i guess, saying that he is still in a meeting and will call me back later. well, i was pretty tired yesterday night. so i asked him don't call me back. i crashed at about 9:30pm yesterday.

i couldn't even believe it myself. 9:30 pm. sometimes i can't even shut down myself at mid night. i seems to be more active at night. you know, sometimes, after work you felt really tired. the next thing you want to do is to go home, bath, dinner and hope to sleep early only to find yourself more awake than you just woke up. right, corinne? what's wrong with us lah?

wonder how's mooi doing with his new job. new colleagues. new environment. new tasks. he's not someone you have to worry about because i always go to him for advice, be it personal or work. i'll never have to worry about going the wrong way following his advice.

and talking about advice... funny thing is my colleague actually asked me for advice for his interviews tomorrow. haha... hope i didn't screw him up. cause i myself doesn't have much interview's experiences. mostly i heard from mooi or read from the internet.

best news of the week has got to be manchester united champions league match with roma. man utd has been having problem scoring this season. can't believe it this is the eight games they had won with a solitary goal this season. not that they are trying to play defensive to protect the one goal lead. they just had problem scoring. the best part is, all the one nil matches are scored by different players in each match.

well, don't care as long as we keep on winning. and of course, not to forget the liverpoo match against marseille. one liverpoo fan remarked that marseille is currently sitting on the 17th spot in the french lique. liverpoo will have no problem beating them. lolz... what a joker...

damn astro for causing me to miss the man utd - roma match. knnccb. a 24 hours satellite tv but don't have 24 hour customer support. my home astro was down 20 minutes before the match. the signal was poor and astro technical support close at 12 am. @#$%^&*()

New toll rates by eight concessionaires from Jan 1
By CHRISTINA KOH

IPOH: Malaysians can expect a 10% increase in toll rates, with eight concessionaires raising their charges from Jan 1 next year, said Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu.

However, he said the ministry was working on several proposals to spread part of the cost to the concessionaires and the Government.

“Rather than burden the people, we want to divide the load so the companies carry a bit and the people a bit.

“I will ask the Government how it can help in this situation,” he told reporters after launching a book on the Yayasan Strategik Sosial’s Plus 8 project here yesterday.

Asked how much would the toll hikes actually involve, Samy Vellu said the agreement had stated a 10% increase.

“I have submitted a preliminary proposal and explained to the Cabinet what it would actually cost, what the reaction of people will be, what we can do as a government, what the concessionaires can do as responsible companies and what else can be done,” he said.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

he even dare to share "we want to divide the load so the companies carry a bit and the people a bit". i don't see any sense in it at all. why must the people share the burden of the company. we don't make any profits. the company makes hundred of millions of profits every year shaking legs. thanks to the one-sided-blood-sucking concessionaires given to them.

if you have not known, a certain man by the name of
lin yun ling is one of malaysia richest man. #34 to be precise. coincidentally, he happens to be gamuda bhd managing director. forbes estimated him to worth US$160 million. motherfucker. now we know where our hard earned money went to.

just what kind of reason will that semi value guy give this time around for the toll hike? with the general election around the corner, (probably early next year) aren't they not afraid of losing the votes?

oh... perhaps they had learned a lot from their past experience. the last toll hike there was a reall big hoo-haa, but it all faded away slowly. people suddenly forget about it after all the hype has died down, and continue to pay the toll obediently. malaysia mudah lupa.

or perhaps, like someone once told me, eventhough all the 26 millions malaysian voted for the oppositions, the current government will still win.

nightmares

and talking about nightmares, there is this nightmare of mine that has been stuck in my mind for a very very long time. can't really remember when i had this dream, probably 5 or 6 years ago.

it goes something like this. my friend dropped me at my apartment to collect some stuff, before going out again. so, after getting my stuff, as i was walking towards the guardhouse, i notice that the gate was locked and no one were around.

so i scaled the tall gate and jump over to the outside. as i landed, i notice a few ghosts were walking along the road in front of me. there was no human to be seen. my friend was waiting for me in a restaurant nearby.

i was really scared and increased my walking speed towards the car. then out of a sudden, i realised that some of the ghosts were chasing after me! and i started to run...

and more ghosts were chasing me. it was almost like a scene from movie where a single person is being chased by a really huge group of warriors. i ran with all my might while shouting at my friend to quickly get in the car.

somehow, i managed to reach the car and we sped off right away... and i woke up feeling funny that day. i felt something was troubling me but i don't know what it is.

i'm not sure what is the interpretion of this dream, but there was another dream that i use to have quite often. it has stopped for a few years now and i'm very very glad.

in the dream, i'm always going to some supermarkets or shopping complex or some places with elevators. and then i'll get into the elevator. out of the sudden, it will start going down really fast. it's terrifying. and even scarier than the ghostly dream.

i don't know why, but this dream just kept on coming back during that time. i'm unsure of the meaning too as i was still studying, and the only thing that i'm really afraid and worried about at that time is the most dreaded exams. thank god it's over now.

but few times i woke up, thinking, "shit, i'm late for class and there's an exam next week." only to realise that i've been working for few years now. lolz... it always happen if i dream that i am still studying and preparing for upcoming exams.

funny how our brains work.

small cars

i have always have an affection for small cars. swift, jazz, yaris or even kelisa, which i'm driving. but of course the one small car that i would love to get my hands on is the mini!

i don't need the turbo-charged model (not that i can afford the basic one). wait-lah. when i get mine, i might choose white color. red color minis can be spotted on the road very often.

important traits at work

after working for some years "here", i realised that there is something missing in me that possibly might prevent any opportunity or promotion on me.

#1: lack of boobies. thus, cannot let ball.

#2: no chance to wear short skirts.

enough said.

when you kap liu...

all kind of obstacles will appear to slow down your journey!

wtf.

it was only 5 minutes after i left my house when i realised that i need to go to the loo. i was on my way to my gf's place, and i thought another 15 minutes, still can lah.

so, i drove at my usual speed. not too fast. not too slow either. just the right speed.

then i reach a two lane road in a pretty new area nearby my gf's place. as the place developed, more and more cars uses that road, and it was full of cars yesterday night. there are only two lanes. the one on the right is for you to go straight or turn right, while the one on the left is for you to turn left.

you can also go straight from the left lane, but i'd say it's for left turn because after the go straight signal has turned red, the turn left signal will still be green for another 30 seconds or more.

so this damn stupid car stopped at the left lane after the go straight signal has turned red. bloody hell. my bladder is gonna explode soon and he is definitely not helping! i'd be lying if i tell you that i didn't honk.

then when the light go green again, i turned left and came to another traffic light. these buggers all park their cars by the road side on the yellow lines. so, two lanes became one lane. it's a four lane road, two each on the opposite way.

so, this bus was on the same direction as me. it was two cars in front of me and guess what, the bus stopped half way turning left. yes, it just stopped while turning to pick up passengers. @#$%^&*(

i checked the side mirror and cut out of the lane to turn right. then this vios, without checking the side mirror try to cut out from the lane too and nearly hit me. niamah!

damn tulan. that's what usually happen when you kap liu.

horror indon maid story

a colleague of my sister was applying for migration to australia. all the procedures were done and completed and they were in their last stage of procedure, which is medical check-up.

a family of four, my sister colleague and the husband passed the medical check-up. unfortunately, to their surprise, their two very young kids (i assume they are not even in school yet) failed the medical check-up.

and the horror starts here. guess what they are diagnosed with? aids. yes, it's a-i-d-s.

and eventually, they found out that their indon maid is the one who passes the disease to them!

how on earth someone can do that to the little children, i have no idea at all. i think these type of people don't deserve to live at all. how heartless can one be? how can they destroy a child's life like that? (two actually) how heartless can they be?

my heart and sympathy goes to the two kids, who are supposed to have a bright future ahead of them. no one deserve to take that away from them, but it's too late now.

another real story that i heard of indon maid was in the paper weeks ago i think. according to my sister, the couple fired the maid (for some reason i forgot). the maid then stole the house keys, got two of his indonesian accomplice, broke into the house, robbed the couple. and the worse thing was they raped the wife in front of the husband.

this just goes on to prove my decision to not get a maid (provided if i can afford one) when i get my own house and starts my own family in the future. i don't know how i am gonna cope, but i'm keeping my fingers crossed. there are just too many of these horrible things that happens and i'm not ready to risk just that.

on the other hand, my family are quite fortunate in the sense that most of our maids are really good and hardworking, except a few who tend to slacks and very forgetful.

the best one i remember was som. it was school break back then and i normally slept until very late in the morning. one morning, som came into my room and woke me up. she told me that my mom called, and asked me to drive her down to the shop to help.

it was 10 something in the morning but i was still sleepy. reluctantly, i dragged myself out of the bed, and drove her down to my dad's shop. while on the way, she told me that my mom didn't call and she lied. she finished all her worked and was free, so she wanted to go down to the shop to help. well... where on earth can you find such hardworking helper?

pavarotti dies at age 71

nope, i'm not a fan of pavarotti. i'm also not a fan of tenors or opera songs.

i remember when i was young (in primary school) my neighbour loves to listen to these opera songs, and as always he will turn it on really loud. it wasn't noisy or irritating, but sometimes my mischief got the better of me, and i imitated the tenor he was listening to. i sang out loudly and my neighbour heard it.

he immediately turn down the volume of his player, look out of the window and remarked, "since you so good, why not you come and sing?". i just kept quiet. lol... he is a lawyer and a family friend, btw.

anyway, pavarotti no doubt is a great tenor. the first celebrity tenor. may he rest in peace.

hong kong scam

when you read this type of news - rm1.7 million poorer in rm24m hk scam - you really do not know whether to pity or laugh out loud.

how many times had we been reminded of such scam. it's in the papers and it's all over the news! it's even on kennysia.com, possibly the most read blog in malaysia. and yet people still fall for it.

the best thing is that, the wife has been ignoring the call for the past one month until she eventually passed that fateful phone call to the husband. he thought he hit the jackpot. crackpot more like it.

not only ecstacy pill can make you lose your mind, a self produced and free of charged thing called "greed" can also make you lose your mind.

the ching chong gang must be laughing all the way to the bank now. they sure haven't give up after they got reverse-conned by kenny sia.

but somehow you got to respect these ching chong gang, because they are really professional. they take the trouble make everything looks and feel so real. remember kenny got a call from the ching chong lady with a background noise of a big dinner function? chung must have thought he can break his legs and don't have to work for the rest of his life when he was given first class luxurious treatment in hong kong and being driven around in the lastest mercedes benz.

to the ching chong gang, it's a job well done. it's hard work i believe (although not on the right stuff) and it's real neat.

to mr chung, you obviously don't read kennysia.com, don't you?! (busted!)

hummer on malaysian road

omfg. guess what i saw this morning?

a hummer!! yes... a
hummer!! it passes right across me and left me with a dropped jaw!!

oh my gawd!

this is the first time i see a hummer on a malaysian road and it look exactly like the picture below. black in color. huge. one hell of a car. i wonder if it felt like you are going to war everyday, driving a car initially meant for the military.

it must cost a bomb just to ship the car into malaysia. and with the excise duty and taxes... it's as good as driving a house. -_-"

it carries a selangor number plate, with the number 1. with this kind of number plate, i believe the cost of the car is not a problem to the owner. the number plate itself probably can buy me a proton wira.

the hummer was once a fad among the celebrities, most notably arnold schwarzenegger and david beckham, who are often being snapped with his hummer. wayne rooney recently got himself a hummer too.

a search on google revealed that arnold once owned eight of them! can you believe it? he eventually sold 5 of them as part of his effort to save the environment. adrien brody has one. james cameron, paris hilton, wyclef jean and mike tyson all have one. i think madonna has one, too, as do michael dell.

coolio sold his because he is sick of the enormous fuel bills. lol...

wonder who that guy is who drove past me today in the hummer...

fashion show?

don't even ask me why i'm using blogspot again. it's just me. i tend to get bored of things easily. yes, this is my third blog now. my first one is with blogspot. then i changed to wordpress. and now i'm using blogspot again! wow... it's true that you'll never know the goodness of some thing until you've lose it, or in my case, until you stop using it.

so here are some random pictures to kick off this new blog...

ever had the thoughts that models are snob who think they are very pretty? last month i had the chance to be involved in organising a fashion show, albeit it is a small one. but hey, amber chia is one of the models! who else do we have there? emmeline ng (miss malaysia 2005), hannah lo, emily lim (astro pageant runners-up 2005), some local models as well as some foreign models from colombia, taiwan and the states.

they are all friggin down to earth! very friendly and warm. i'd always had the impression that amber is snobbish. i've seen her at some event where my company has taken part in, and she does look snobbish. well, perhaps to strangers only, because she is just so bubbly! it's definitely a great experience working with them.

oh yeah, and how can i leave out eric choong.
eric choong is one of the kl six and just in case you do not know who these kl six are, they are malaysia's very own "item du jour" in fashion design.

he is just what i had expected of a fashion designer. he has his own style of doing things, and his clothes are just fantastic!

initially, i was little overwhelmed when i was trusted with the responsibility to coordinate the fashion show with eric and the model agency, as i have never done this before. in fact, things didn't get off to a good start, as we have some problems coming to agreement with eric over the clothes and shoes for the model. eventually, i made the trip down to eric's boutique in bangsar and everything just went smoothly from then on.

anyway, what supposed to be a random pictures entry has become an entry about my experience in organising a fashion show... well, what shall i put as the title then?
